Introduction

I really like this layout. I think it's the first time I've ever blended successfully. I was also rather proud of two backgrounds actually working the way I wanted. Thanks to my lovely Mellu for telling it was A+. That made my day. Enjoy, kids.

Terms and Conditions

By downloading this layout you are not to remove any credits. If it is in your best interest you may move the credits to a credits page, as long as that page is accessable by every page.

Let me be frank. This layout was made by free from me. Free. F-R-E-E. If you want to keep it that way, from me and other designers, you'll just keep the credits. If you're thinking about editing the layout to make it your own, you're violating my terms and conditions. Also? It's pathetic. Either keep this layout the way it is and pay me my proper respects, or create your own layout from scratch. There is no need to edit someone else's work and claim it as your own.

The History of My Name

This layout is cross browser friendly as well as valid in both XHTML 1.0 Transitional and valid CSS. This layout was made by Peppery Skin [dot] org by Amanda Emma Peña -- three words, seven syllables and fourteen letters. Let's begin with the etymology, shall we?

The name Amanda, created in the seventeenth century by the playwright Colley Cibber, is derived from the Latin word amanda meaning lovable. Emma, on the other hand, is derived from the Germanic ermen meaning whole or universal. Unfortunately since this is America and most of my resources are not intended to relate to anything but America and our culture a as a whole, I could not find the meaning of my last name Peña. We could say it pertains to a sort of pen, perhaps a fancy fountain pen, however that would be ridiculous. Therefore, I would like to think of my name as meaning lovable as a whole.
